Challenge
Pitt CTSI approached THREAD seeking to bring scalable, patient-centric research technology to its portfolio
- Provide a cost-effective solution that can be adopted by a wide range of researchers
- Scale technology deployment across multiple organizations and research teams
- Achieve portfolio ramp up within a three-year pilot period
Solution
THREAD deployed its no-code, fully configurable DCT & eCOA technology platform and implemented a self-service training curriculum to drive scaled adoption
- Platform provides a mobile and web solution for UPitt researchers and participants to engage with their studies in a simple and accessible way
- Teleresearch and electronic clinical outcomes assessments (eCOA) allow study participants to conduct study visits virtually, reducing participant burden
- Core UPitt super user team trained on THREAD’s self-service, fully-configurable study builder, supported by THREAD experts to accelerate ramp up and scale quickly
